Shitshitshit.
Had another allergy face-swelling episode yesterday. It started around 3, and as of this writing (9 am), my face is not yet back to normal. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I’d only had two things that could have caused it: mini raviolis and ibuprofen. Now I’ve been eating ravis recently and NEVER had a reaction—they have no trace of nut anything in them. I always take ibuprofen each month to get rid of cramps, and never had a reaction. But this time something in one of them made my body flip out. I actually went to bed around 7 last night (allergy meds made me sleepy, I was tired anyway, and I just wanted to wake up with it all over—HA! As if!).
Of course this means that I really must go get allergy tests. I dread what that will entail, I dread the bill, and I dread needing to live in a bubble for the rest of my life.
And did I mention FUUUUUCK?!?!
Sorry about your allergic reaction. Try some Benadryl. Just wanted to let you know I read your blog quite often. Hope you feel better.
