I am having trouble getting into the Yuletide spirit this year. Not sure why. All I know is that I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever—did you get that? NEVER!—do shopping in December again. I hereby solemnly swear to finish xmas shopping by November 30 every year. I cannot stand the traffic, I cannot stand the assholes in stores, I cannot stand the crowds. Ugh, ick, ARGH.
I think a martini will take the edge off the memory of recent shopping excursions.
So, I went back to the clinic a couple of days ago for a checkup on my foot after finishing the antibiotics. But the doctor didn’t like the fact that my foot still gets red & swollen when I am upright, so she said I need seven more days of antibiotics. *sob*! Now of course…

Last weekend was in Boston. Loved it! I just really like that city. Went up to visit good friend GD (and to scope it out as a possible place to live). If I can get some teaching jobs up there…I’ll move next year! It would be great fun to spend a year or two there…
