Snuggly bed and good chicken
Working extra this week to make up time, and not much happening worth blogging about. Well, that’s not entirely true…I finally got the gorgeous new Ikea quilt cover I’d ordered (pinks, purples, orange, and green-striped and recently featured in MEN IN TREES…the colors might sound odd, but it’s GORGEOUS!), and I love it too much! I also decided to get a down comforter to put in it, despite the fact that soon I’ll be tucking said comforter away until next winter, and I found an amazing deal on one that I could not pass up. Last night, sleeping in my cozily-dressed bed was heaven!
Tonight I made the best baked chicken I’ve ever done. Using a baking sheet, I put the chicken on a bit of olive oil, put two cloves of peeled garlic under it, and sprinkled w/sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and a bit of rosemary. De-lic-ious!
That’s our girl — future owner of the only down comforter in the state of Florida. :-)
