The Big Toad lives!
I’ve posted before about the Big Toad, a very large toad that’s the size of my hand at least (you can’t really tell from these pics just how big she is). She’s been MIA for a long time, and I was afraid she was gone or had died. But today, I spotted her hopping along the fence! I ran to get my camera and got two shots before she hopped behind some bricks:
I’m so happy she’s still around. There used to be a little pond in the backyard, which is where she lived, but now it’s gone, and I’d wondered what happened to her. She’s obviously found another home somewhere around here. :)
