My own Traveling Edward, werewolf scent, and other Things Yummy

Ok, so I caved in and got my own Traveling Edward off of eBay:

Once he gets here—and because I got free shipping that means it might take over two weeks before the post office deigns to deliver him—I’m going to have waaaaay too much fun taking Traveling Edward pics for the Sisterhood. Way too much fun. But it’s worth it, since life isn’t worth it unless you can be ridiculously silly at times.

Last  night I started brewing testers for my shop’s body sprays:

From L to R: Imprinted, My Own Sun (duh!), and Forks (duh again!). I’m just testing scent strengths, etc. So far I LOVE MOS and Forks…just love ’em. I made them into soy candles, but I’m finding that soy doesn’t scent as strongly as I’d expect, so I’m going to experiment with regular wax candles. I might still sell a few soy candles, since the soy burns so wonderfully clean and hey, some people prefer lightly-scented candles. We’ll see.

Last night I also made up some “Reality Sucks” lip balms, which are chocolate flavor. They are up in Geek Bliss and on Etsy already…holy cow, they smell wonderful! I can’t wait to make other things with this chocolate flavor oil.

I think I’ll stop working for the night and start pixeling. I’ve got a few summer tubes to play with still, although my mind’s already on fall. Bring on autumn and Halloween, baaaby!
