Shitty day.

I’ve got six weeks left of income. We were just told at work that we’ll work/get paid through January, and then we won’t work or be paid in February. Supposedly we’d come back in March on a per diem, but that’s ridiculous–no one can go a month without pay, and then come back to significantly reduced pay & no benefits. The owner obviously wants the company to die off. Today I am starting a job hunt, but given the economy and the time of year, etc…yeah. And I might have to relocate to a new city in order to find work, but if my roommate can’t replace me, she could end up in foreclosure. No idea what I’m going to do. Wonderful fucking holidays!

I started three different challenges on November 1: Art Every Day Month, NaNoWriMo, and a 100 Day Challenge within my spiritual group. I began each with typical zeal. While I’m staying…

  • Sumtimez, I iz smart.

I recently found some old books from grad school packed away, including some old favorite titles about cyberculture. In the mix was a book I’d written a review of for an online journal, and I decided to see if the review is still up. Voila, it is: My review of Cyberspace Textuality. Damn. I sounded…
