Feathered musings

Yesterday a pair of chickadees were on one of my feeders. I don’t think I’ve ever seen chickadees in Florida, and definitely not at this house. They made me smile.

Today the titmice and cardinals are devouring seed while singing very loudly.

The red-tailed hawk is out and about, her distinctive cry echoing through the neighborhood.

The big tree I can see from my window is full of  robins. They settle there, then scatter, then come back.

There is no better morning music than that of birdsong.
