A blissful geek

After a long and crazy weekend spent out of town with a bunch of friends, I am back and working like mad on articles and “product development” for Geek Bliss. I love saying “product development” like that…sounds so important and everything. LOL! Today the first batch of packaging labels arrived, which were merely a test for label design, and they look sooo good. The design does need tweaking (text too small, obviously), but damn if I’m not just giddy with the results so far!

A label on a candle. The labels aren't quite the right size for these tins, but these are just test tins. The labels rock though! Yay!

And then in the course of hunting online for some things for a Geek Girls Rock article, I came across an 80s Swatch phone on eBay. Must add it to my collection, because I wanted one of these sooo badly back in the day and never had one. And it’s pink—even better!

Ok, enough playing with my website for the moment…must get back to concocting yummy-smelling things, lol.

Happy belated 4th of July, too! :-)

My birthday is approaching—well, it’s in the first bit of October, anyway—and I’ve bought myself a couple of presents already. Why already? Because I can! Wheeee! :D Ahem. One of the things I’ve gotten is a fabulous, gorgeous Laurel Burch “Santa Fe Felines” mug, something I’ve wanted for years (literally, years) and have no idea…

  • Working, working

I like this new theme but it needs LOTS of tweaks. I’m workin’ on it. I’m also hard at work on a new project with some friends, called Geek Girls Rock. We’re going live in July! Until then, friend us on Facebook, follow on Twitter, you know the drill. More soon. :)
