So, I’ve been sketching out layout ideas for the blog, thinking about how I wanted to best display all the holidays goodies I want to display, yadda yadda yadda. Then I decided to redo my quilt first, as it would be “easier” since the program I use for it is fairly simplistic. Uh huh.
Note to self: Don’t attempt to watch movies like Silent Hill when home alone. Second note: Be thankful for those who help you through it…you guys rock! Hahaha…
…I will finally change this damn theme. This has been/is/will be for awhile a crappy time in life, but digital art soothes me. So I’m going to find time to do it today, no matter what. ETA: Got a good start on new design. Will try to get it up tomorrow.
Today’s “It’s Showtime” announcement from Apple is pretty cool. Movies will be available on iTunes…new higher-capacity iPods (am now drooling for a 30 gig model)…and a device for watching iPod stuff on TVs! Damn my technolust… Info is being updated live at iLounge and Macworld.
So far today, the huge tree next to my building (probably oak, but I’m not 100% sure), which is usually inhabited by squirrels, doves, sparrows, and the occasional blue jay, has had extended stays from a red-headed woodpecker, a robin, and a red-tailed hawk! And my second-floor window is a front-row seat for the show….
