Yes, she lives.

Ok, ok, I suppose I’ll blog again. Not that I have a whole lot to say at the mo. Wait—nope, not a whole lot. Hmmm…what shall I blog about?

Ah, what crappy weather we’re having around here! I practically had to swim home today!

Nah, that’s boring.

*drums fingers on desk*

Oooh I know. I should blog about the wonderful chat I had Wednesday night with the wonderful Richard Hatch. He was the guest speaker for a teleclass (series called “Anything But Ordinary“) on the topic “Unleashing Your Power & Creative Vision.” It was a great talk, Richard had many really good things to say, and I’m really glad I signed up. Yes, yes, yes, I’m a huge BSG fan, but this was not a BSG-related event…it was right at the heart of my desire to FINISH my damn novel and make my millions as a best-selling fantasy author. ;-)

How’s that for a dream? *weg*

And some of you (*ahem*) really want me to offer better pics of the new hair. I suppose I can try to take some this weekend… *whines*…but I really never like how my pics come out. Yeah, yeah, I have to get over that, so I guess I’ll try to take more pics & see what happens. Then you all may make fun at will. ;-)

Ok, enough blathering. It’s time for Sci Fi Friday, and my geek hat is now on. Just gotta add a martini and put my feet up, and the week is Officially Over. ;-)

Anyone on the messengers tonight watching too? Say hi!

I don’t plan to share much about my grieving process, except to say that it’s hard and that it comes in waves. I feel this aching sadness that my mom won’t get to see this or that or do this or that…that all the stuff I still want for the future she won’t see/experience…and then…

Yay, the week is over! This was a hellish week, thanks to some insanely childish political bullshit going on at work. The only good thing to come of it so far is that I’ve discovered that I work for some great people who “have my back,” as it were. That is a wonderful feeling. As…

  1. Hi Cyberdelia! Thank you so much for your kind comments about the teleclass. I was so glad you could participate and I hope you can stop back on a regular basis. Richard may also fill in for me as host when I’m on vacation at the end of next month! Thank you again for the kind words and please stay in contact. I will have to check out your blog on a regular basis! Good luck on the novel!
