Pinterest pick me up

I love Pinterest, but I try not to go there every day because, well, I tend to lose time when I do. Heh. If you’re a pinner too, I’m sure you understand.

But sometimes I pop in to find something “I just know I pinned…” and end up lost in my own pinboards, happily rediscovering all the goodies there. Because normally, I tend to “pin & go.” Scroll through images, pin the ones that really speak to me, and repeat. Never revisiting my own boards. Until one day, I do, and get lost oooohing and aaaaahing. And laughing!

I have two “happy” boards, one called “Things That Make Me Smile” and one called “Literally LOL’d.” And when I look at them, I smile or LOL. And it’s one of the most amazing pick-me-ups!

So now one of my little goals this year is to actually USE my pinboards and not just use Pinterest to find new things…to use my pinboards for the inspiration they’re meant to be, AND to use them as regular pick-me-ups. If I’m feeling a bit down or cranky, I’m going to pull up a happy board & get lost in sweet and/or funny pics.

Because really, what’s the point of pinning if I don’t enjoy what I’ve got?

Because I mean really, just look…I’m sitting here giggling as I post these…

And here is one of my very favorites…this makes me laugh so hard every time…I giggle just thinking about it! And I have NO idea why it’s so dang funny to me, it just is…the skinny owl…hehehe…hahahaha…. *wipes away tears*
